I'm back, and things are somehow different
I've been away a while, in Scotland, England and the like. My favorite place I've been is here:
Glencoe, in the highlands. No picture I have seen quite does the place justice. It's absolutely massive, something you can't quite capture on film.
In general I won't go on about the trip - it was excellent, opened up the world to me and made everything seem somehow much more possible. However, it's never good to share about those things, trip diaries, with the people who weren't there - it just isn't the same for them, and everyone has their own experiences in life.
I have to echo some of Shannon's enthusiasm for the new trip idea:
Northwest Territories!
I think I get particularly excited about anyplace that's not full of people. Isolation and mountains. Test of strength and endurance. My idea of vacation!
I'm back at school, doing both a TA-ship and my honours project, on weevils. It's so far pretty exciting but I don't have much work outside of school.
