I dig nerds...

What's wrong with me? I have a silly TV crush on George from Grey's and Jim from the Office.

Not even McDreamy!

What's wrong with me?
What does that mean about Greg? :P

Now playing... "Where did the good go" by Tegan and Sara

I'm back in Freddy now, and I'm very glad to be back. I went promptly to get a haircut and the hairdresser was appalled at the lack of cutting that had gone on. Apparently my split ends were shocking, so I had to lop a lot of hair off. Looks allright thankfully, but I have to go back in 6 weeks to cut off the rest! That's what happens when you have to wear a hideous hat every day.

Guess I didn't report it here... I got swarmed by hornets on one of the last workdays! It was so terrible, I didn't realize how crappy it is to get swarmed. I mean, I've had the occasional sting before, but wow - 7?? My entire arm went numb and I went on a quest for pizza, which was difficult since the pizzeria closed randomly at dinnertime! (ahh) Now I have a mortal fear of insects, which is difficult, since I'm an entomologist.

I figure the fear of buzzing is totally justified though.

I mean, I got stung in the ass. The ASS.

Through my pants, of course.

Not only did I get my hair cut, I bought clothes! Even painted my toenails! I am in terrific shape from summer field work, so I bought smaller clothes, meaning I have to keep in shape. Already started a workout calendar. I'm planning to take kung fu again, which is neat!

The downside of the class is that it's Thursday nights, and I won't be able to feed my TV crushes. Luckily, I think if I jog back I'll make it back for Grey's, but I'll have to watch the Office later. How will I ever know if Jim and Pam hook up? Anyone know if there are reruns of it later in the week?

I guess fitness comes before TV, *sigh*...

I'm excited about coming back to Ontario soon too! I'm going to Toronto to see my boy for his birthday (yippee!!) and then on home after that, for 2 weeks, finishing at Thanksgiving! My parents got me a wheelie suitcase for travels, so that I'm not lugging around a big backpack in the airport, since the backpack contributed to the pants-ripping-public-embarrassment episode.

I'm moving up in the world!

Damn you, Emmys, for not rewarding television that anyone actually watches. Just give us what we want.

Fine, no? I'm going to read a book. An evolution book. Take that, bitches.
