Pottermania!
Wahoo! I went to see it! Fast-paced (in a bad way) but otherwise very fulfilling action-wise.
I'm currently enjoying the soundtrack - it's not John Williams, for which I'm thankful!
I can't help it. I want to re-read book 5, which was the worst one - but the only one I haven't read twice. Other than 6, which I read recently.

to do before XMAS!!!
okeeeee
1. Finish procrastinating and write decent proposal that will hopefully minimize later criticisms in January's open discussion in class over our proposals. Due soon, too, and when asked about it today I fled the copy room. Is that normal? Hiding, I mean?
2. See Harry Potter. I'm a big fan and it's not fair. (I'm crying you a river as we speak.)
3. Write my adult behaviour paper. Meaning, do a lot of readings. Why is there so much literature about moths? And why is most of it so bad?
4. Plan the lab's Christmas party so that it's super fun.
5. Figure out what to present at GSA conference and write an abstract and submit it. Soon.
6. Plan Christmas shopping (to be done in Ontario).
7. Re-learn stats. In its entirety. To defend why I chose tests even. Craziness.
Well, this is doable.
See? The trick to overcoming obstacles is to list them in their minimal state, and then they don't seem quite so daunting.
Wait - three weeks until I'm coming home... huh.
I'm getting addicted to Gilmour Girls. Sad, but true. What happened? To me, I mean?

Updates are under way...
As my blog has changed so very little over the past few years, I have decided that it required an update. I believe that the new look, which is incomplete as of yet, will be rather spiffy, to say the least.
My links on the left hand side have been updated as well. Karen has been demoted down the list since she never updates her site.
I hope to use flowery language to describe my life as it passes, but the truth is that my life is full of choppy bits of action, and everything does seem rather random to me. It's very hard to narrate as though it was a beautiful story.
And - why is it that when I do sampling in the field I can never quite appear this intellectual?
