The Good, the Bad and the Queen

Last night I went to a Peregrine Falcon Climb-a-thon. This terrific event was to raise the 10,000$ necessary to put a land easement on one of the few nesting sites in New Brunswick. Falcons are terrific creatures, and I'm not sure I need this you tube video to prove it, (although it helps). Jets and heavy metal music make everything just a bit cooler, I think.
It was a good night - involving wall climbing at the university gym. I can't say that I conquered my fear of heights, but I did make it up the climbing wall 8 times, which was impressive for me. I thought I would freeze at a lower height, but I just didn't look down too much. Afterwards, it was followed by a great night out at the grad house.
All in all, lots of fun!
