Funnity
Been keeping busy with shenanigans all week.
Monday night we had our first ball hockey game. It was amazing! I've never tried playing hockey before, so it was a new experience for me. It's a co-ed league (the guys are all huge and really experienced) but they need a certain number of girls playing. It's silly - we wear pinheys and run around the gym with hockey helmets banging around on our heads. I have to say, it's such a good workout! You basically sprint for as long as you can in every direction, and then when you start to slow down, we change players. Anyway, we won our first game, as the guys on the team are all amazing players, and us girls aren't too bad too! I managed to foul up a couple of good plays from the opposing team, just by getting in there and being aggressive.
The only downside is that I think I may have asthma. I've been having these weird non-breathing episodes, where my throat fills up with liquidy crap and the air going in and out makes a whistly sound. Plus a lot of chest pain. The real downside is that I don't have a doctor here, nor time to see one. I'm hoping to get to a clinic next week, but I figure by the time I get through the system it'll be two months from now. And it doesn't help that I really despise doctors.
What the hell is with our country? The day after Harper won, these goddamned abortion protesters (outside the clinic every Tuesday) got all weird and tough, and wouldn't let me pass on the sidewalk. Not even going into the clinic. I'm pretty sure it's illegal. Pissants. Getting too uppity if you ask me. I need ninja darts imprinted with Darwin's face. Yeah, that should do it.
Went to see Brokeback Mountain last night. Amazing and heartbreaking. It just sticks with you.

I'm starting to sound like all I do is party
Had another amazing evening out last night. Just so we're clear on this, I don't JUST go out partying. We do that about once a week, and sometimes twice. Yeahhh... and also it's the most interesting thing to report on, unless you want to hear about my research.
So the girls all headed to Leah's at 7 pm and we ate awesome food and drank until like 10:30. It was good bonding time for us, chatting about any and all topics, and Leah even did my hair with her amazing straightener. Then we headed out to a house party on the northside. They had a band playing in the house, but not your typical rock band - think Johnny Cash and old time music. (It was a bit odd). We tried these amazing shot glasses made of actual candy cane, which we later melted into our drinks (mintyyy).
Anyway - still need to do groceries, but I'm so sleepy still. Bah.
Hopefully going to see Brokeback Mountain this week - looks amazing.
