Summer's here and you wouldn't know it
Perpetual cold and rain - I forget what blue sky looks like, and I'm starting to worry that the cold killed my bugs.. erg.
For those of you who know my situation in Caledonia, you'll forgive my very rare posts. I'm in a house near the one last year and it's not too shabby, although somewhat shabby. My housemates are terrific though - and we've started Grey's Anatomy nights and SATC nights. Nights end at 8 though since they're up at 4 to go birding. We're hoping for good weather to start sometime soon. I rely on dry days to sample and collect larvae and it hasn't been dry yet. Plus, being able to go out somewhere to do somethign would be nice too.
Had a research conference in Keji and it was good. The presentations were good at least. Going to Wolfville soon for the Acadian Ent Soc conference with my lab - should be good too!
That's all to report. My life is dull here. HEmlock stands are beautiful though and I love being in them all day.
The cold keeps the clouds of biting flies at bay, which is good at least.
Taa!
